Sexology
Sexuality encompasses a whole range of sensations and actions and is much more than "just" sexual intercourse or a bodily function that can be "normal" or "disturbed".
Sexuality influences almost all areas of human life like hardly any other topic - whether it is a basic need, fun or a form of expression - it accompanies us throughout life.
As humans, we are sexual beings. Sexuality is a natural and valuable, even a necessary and fundamental aspect of life.
And yet sexuality often remains a taboo subject. Something shameful that isn't talked about openly. Especially not when it comes to sexual problems or insecurities.
Seeking help when it comes to sexuality is difficult and often very uncomfortable for many people. It takes a lot of courage to discuss this with a stranger - after all, we are very vulnerable when it comes to this topic.
You've already taken the first step by being here!
Sexology is aimed at all people who want to reflect more on their own sexuality and/or seek help for sexual problems and insecurities.
You are not alone!
Sexual problems are much more common than you might think. Sexual knowledge gaps are (unfortunately) no exception in our society.
